Program Coordinator

 The Program Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Institute for Creative Community Initiatives (ICCI) programs. This position promotes and embraces the vision of ICCI and supports the Executive Director (ED).  This position reports to the HCDI Chief Administrative Officer and consults with the board weekly.


Essential Functions

Program Support

  • Plans and coordinates activities of the programs to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Confers with ED and Board to meet program goals
  • Respond to inquiries, requests, and assist program mentees and mentors with questions or concerns, via email, phone or other methods
  • Lead and On-site for program events as needed
  • Establish and/or maintain database to track program progress; update existing database as needed
  • Coordinate events for programs; Handle registrations for programs, meetings, events, etc.
  • Recruits program participants and volunteers utilizing appropriate promotional and marketing methods
  • Develops, compiles and writes communications and promotional literature for distribution such as programs flyers and brochures
  • Research financial resources for program sustainability; look for grants
  • Assist and support programmatic initiatives

Database Maintenance & Website

  • Maintain website, ensure site is updated and constantly refreshed
  • Maintain database of all program and its components
  • Create and maintain FAQs; document processes for all tasks
  • Track program participants and program deliverables
  • Maintain all social media sites to promote programs

BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least three years of demonstrated program administrative experience.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Comfortable with technology and able to learn new processes quickly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A “doer” with a keen sense of urgency, excellent follow-up, and attention to detail.
  • Works well under pressure and on tight deadlines while maintaining professional relationships with colleagues at all times.
  • Demonstrates an interest in ICCI’s mission.

This is a part-time position.  This position hourly rate is $16.00 per hour.
