Coordinator, Secondary Academic Support, District of Columbia Public Schools
Ms. Wilson has specialized experience in education and nonprofit management. Upon moving to Maryland in 2011, Ms. Wilson taught in Prince George’s County Public Schools. After deciding to leave the classroom, she served as the first Project Manager of ICCI where she coordinated and managed all elements of ICCI programming and events. She now works as a Coordinator for District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) where she plays a critical role in DCPS’ efforts to rethink and rebuild the way the district approaches the secondary school experience to ensure all secondary school students have access to excellent academic, extracurricular, and enrichment programs. Ms. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Hampton University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Maryland.
