What is ICCI?

The Institute for Creative Community Initiatives (ICCI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, adults, and families in vulnerable communities. ICCI addresses issues confronting physical and mental health, and overall well-being, through innovative and sustainable strategies that focus on providing community support and adopting healthy lifestyles.

Who do we serve?

Type of Consumer

  • Latino populations
  • African American populations
  • American Indian/Alaska Native populations
  • Refugees
  • Individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP)
  • Young adults/transitional youth who are uninsured
  • New mothers and women with children
  • Medicaid – eligible consumers – uninsured

Type of Consumer

  • Receive fewer health care services
  • Encounter barriers to accessing primary health care services (e.g., economic, cultural, and/or linguistic)
  • Have a lack of familiarity with the health care delivery system
  • Face a shortage of readily available providers.

(YES) Youth Empowerment Series

ICCI’s YES Programs empower student leadership in health, wealth, and wellness through various methods from Mentoring, to Conferences to leadership opportunities!

The Innovation Center for Multicultural Health Initiatives

ICCI’s health initiatives are varied to meet the diverse needs of our community and we equip people with access to resources and education.

Economic Empowerment Training

ICCI offers economic empowerment through The Dove School Program and Mentoring tracks which build and nurture the skills and traits of leadership and entrepreneurship in youth and adults.
